Massive Potential Retail Space – 48-50 High Street

Few commercial properties in Rhyl can boast the history of 48–50 High Street. Built around 1930 for Burton the tailor, the distinctive Art Deco premises remained associated with Burton for generations, latterly combining Dorothy Perkins womenswear on the ground floor with Burton menswear above. Both retailers closed their Rhyl branches in January 2018.

The building also has an exceptional entertainment heritage. Its upper floor once housed the Regent Ballroom, later Regent Dansette, famously welcoming The Beatles during their first Welsh performance in 1962.
